I am really looking forward to seeing our fashion forward, gabby, sexually aggressive girls of NYC.  The previews look good. I don’t think there is going to be as much sex and more feelings, but that will work too.  I can’t wait to see the fashions!! I really love most of the clothes.  Of Course, 2 hours with Mr Big is always time well spent.  He could be Mr little and I’d still want to smooch him all over- :).  Make plans now for Friday, and don’t plan on hearing from me. I am sure I will see it at least 3 times that day!

So have you ever used these resistence bands when you exercise?  I have to tell you they’re the best.  It’s like lifting free weights but without all the bulky weight.  And you can throw them in your suitcase if you’re traveling.  These rubber bands stretch and allow you to work various muscle groups in your arms, legs, back and wherever (there is some creativity involved for the whatever).  I love them and use them all the time.  The trick for maximum benefit is to go slow and resist the urge for herky jerky movements - if only men followed the same principles….  Anyway, I digress…  You’ll definitely be surprised at how fatigued your muscles will feel after just a few reps.  There are many different brands, so pick which ever one fits your budget and get stretching.

Ah the summertime…Those long hot days…soaking up the sun with your friends at the pool.  Sipping on a Margarita, listening to some tunes and chillin’ in a lounge chair.  Total relaxation!  There’s nothing quite like it…well almost nothing.

There’s a hot new club opening up and you and the girls have made plans to christen it with your stunning presence.  You spend forever getting ready, picking out the right outfit and making sure your hair is perfect because you never know just who might be taking you home at the end of the night.  You all meet for a few pre-club cocktails and before you know it there’s a house party happening.

So I went to the gym yesterday and my trainer put me through one of the most intense work-outs EVER.  I was running around, bouncing up and down, stretching, lunging and contorting my body in a way it hadn’t been since my night with Raul -they don’t call him the Mexican Jumping Bean for nothing -.  I felt great after all that exercise…for the most part anyway

Note to self:  Need a new bra.

Wedding Bells are a ringing!! Jessica Alba and Ashley Simpson spent the weekend getting married.  Beyonce and Mariah did hush hush weddings in the last couple of months. Ellen announces she and longtime girlfriend- Porcia are getting married.  Wow love is in the air!  With all the weddings will probably come lots of babies!! We can guess what the cover of People magazine is going to be for the next couple of months.  Weddings, Babies, Divorce:)  Love to all-Lola

So the girls were in the shop talking about Kim Kardashian and all her crazy sisters on Keeping up with the Kardashians, so I tuned in.  It was a lot of Oh My God…Like I can’t believe you did that… I am so sure…  Really I was gagging!  The camera follows these 3 Kardashian girls around while they mindlessly walk thru their lives worrying about themselves and what everyone’s wearing and driving. Blah, Blah, Blah! Boring! It just reminds me of all the other annoying, brainless girls on TV.  No originality!  I love a woman that can gab with the best, look great and be the center of attention, but they need to have something worth hearing.  Unfortunately these girls missed out on that part.  Love to all the strong women out there that can look great and spout with the best, brains and beauty- that’s the perfect formula!!

So apparently Tony Romo the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys and Jessica Simpson did NOT break up as reported earlier in the week.  Sources say he’s even taking her to her sister Ashley’s wedding this weekend to rocker Pete Wentz.  So what’s the scoop?  Are they are aren’t they?  Or do we even care?  I don’t know, I kind of like Jessica Simpson.  She at least knows how to laugh at herself unlike most of the Hollywood starlets and for the most part she’s been able to keep herself out of trouble a la Britney Spears.  Her father Joe Simpson kind of creeps me out a little.  What father brags that his daughter is a 36 DD or whatever she is - certainly not words I EVER want to hear out of my father’s mouth.

Anyway…I hope it works out for them.  I honestly couldn’t imagine living under the amount of media attention and scrutiny that they do.  You’d have to watch EVERYTHING you did…no inappropriate scratching, talking to yourself and God forbid a bad case of gas…

So today I’m feeling very happy and philosophical.  Maybe it’s the blazing sun that’s shining in the front window of Glamatopia or maybe it’s the Cardinal perched on the window sill singing away.  I’m not even annoyed with my neighbors’ yappy little dog - that’s a rarity for me.  I like animals so don’t go all PETA on me…but this dog NEVER shuts up - EVER - and most days I seriously want to muzzle him with duct tape.  He’s cute and everything but his bark is so high pitched it makes fingersnails on a chalkboard seem quite pleasant. 

No…today has been a good day.  Customers have been pleasant, left huge tips (that always makes me happy anyway) and I’ve yet to tell anyone to fuck off - another rarity for me.  Even my coffee was the perfect blend of cream and sugar.  These days don’t happen often, so I think I’m just going to sit back and cherish it while it lasts….

Question:  If you’re married is it still okay to check out that fine piece of ass walking down the street?
